Genetically modified organisms
and food security in Russia

I.V. Ermakova

An icon with the inscription “Do not abhor GMOs” has become a permanent fixture on food products in Russia. What are genetically modified organisms or GMOs? What is wrong with products like mine?Video recording Irina Ermakova spoke at the conference -http://rutube.ru/tracks/1686765.html?v=d4986fb726886035ca0c7d72a3fdbbbf&bmstart=0

Additional genetic engineering now involves looking at the gene of a given organism and “reproducing” it in the DNA of other species or creatures by changing the powers and parameters of the remaining ones. The stench is resistant to pesticides, frost, dryness, radiation, etc.

It would be a bad idea. However, the methods of stagnation of genes are still not complete. It has been repeatedly stated throughout the world that the gains in these methods of genetic engineering of plants can only be confined to experiments, rather than being used for mass production.

Large-scale expansion in Russia of genetically modified organisms, a concern that has been brought to light in various parts of the world, leading to guilt infertility, splash oncological illnesses, genetic calcifications and allergic reactions, to an increase in the mortality rate of people and creatures, a sharp acceleration of biological growth and a decline in the extreme middle nature.

Chemical companies were the first to create them to reduce profits and increase resistance to pesticides, which they themselves produced.

For finishing: pesticides - tse otruti, waste target organisms, or sterilizers that cause sterility. They include herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and zoocides.

The most widespread are genetically modified crops that are resistant to herbicides – Roundup and glufosinate. For finishing:

roundup at the lowest rates, lead to the death of embryonic cells, umbilical cord blood cells and human placentas, triggering the programmed death of cells;

glufosinate Having cried out from the last creatures, the final curtains, intrauterine death and fleeting abortions. Japanese studies have shown that vin has a negative impact on the brain, hindering the development and activity of the human brain.

Most genetically modified crops that are resistant to pesticides have been planted in Europe. For ignorant reasons In Russia all these cultures are allowed.

The insecurity of our current situation and insecurity have been discussed more than once.

About 2000 years ago, a statement was published about the unsafe nature of genetic engineering, and then a shortlist from the government of all countries about introducing a moratorium on its expansion, as signed 828 people from 84 countries around the world. Nina has many more signatures.

Experimental studies have shown pathological changes in the organs of animals and their offspring when various genetically modified crops are added to the feed.

Thus, pathological changes in the internal organs of laboratory animals were detected by researchers when potatoes, soybeans, peas, and corn were added to the food. The investigation was published, but even more unpublished work was lost.

There have been reports that the addition of genetically modified tomatoes to the food caused the death of some laboratory bee-eaters, and the addition of such corn to the food of mice led to before100% mortality rate of their children.

The author also recently tested the offspring of the most extensive genetically modified soybeans on the offspring of laboratory worms, which showed an increased mortality rate of the first generation worms, underdevelopment of the worms that survived, pathological changes in internal organs and the presence of another generation.

The expansion of such processes will lead to a rapid reduction in the biological growth, destruction and growth of essential bacteria for our biosphere.

For example, the proliferation of soil bacteria causes soil degradation, rot bacteria lead to the fact that corpses do not decompose, and ice-decomposing bacteria lead to a sharp change in litter.

To what extent the deterioration of living organisms can result, it’s hard to imagine - to the point of a sharp decline in the excessive middle class, climate change, and the rapid and irrevocable ruin of the biosphere.

In an effort to protect themselves from genetically modified crops, many countries have introduced labeling on products to remove their components, and began to sell such products at a very low price, and some countries have gone on a rampage of such crops and products that organized zones, free from them - 1300 zones in 35 countries around the world. Among them are all European countries 1.

Recently, in the European Union, evidence was published, which indicated that transgenic crops for ten years have not brought the same benefits: they did not increase the income of farmers in most parts of the world, and did not improve whose food products did not cause anyone to go hungry.

The growth of these crops has accelerated the depletion of herbicides and pesticides, and has not reduced them, as biotechnological corporations had promised.

These cultures did not bring any harm to the middle world, but, in fact, had a very negative impact on nature. Moreover, genetically modified plants themselves are extremely unstable due to their overall low characteristics and can negatively affect the health of people and animals.

Genetically modified products appeared on the Russian market in the 90s, although the permitted varieties are limited, but stench is added to many products, their components are found in bakery products, meat and dairy products.

Richly Ikh ta at the child's food, especially for the youngest. The most extensive additive is genetically modified soybean, resistant to the herbicide Roundup, which in our experiments led to death of offspringі infertility.

It appears that genetically modified primary crops cannot grow: primary crops are likely to become genetically contaminated with transgenic inserts as a result of overplanting.

Apparently, until the decision of the state commission in Russia, it is not allowed to grow genetically modified crops, and its import is subject to permission.

Although this action has not been studied at all, and its inheritance has not been transferred, in our country, for obvious reasons, scientific and clinical research and testing of its effects on animals and people are practically not carried out.

Try to carry out such investigations and you will find great results.

At that very hour flow of such products, feed and feed to Russia for the remaining fates increased in size100 times.

Experimental studies have shown the increase in swelling in animals whose diet was supplemented with such products. It is possible that their disease has led to an increase in the number of oncological diseases of the scolial-intestinal tract, especially the rectum, in Russia.

The difficult situation that has developed around transgenic products can be briefly described as follows: a scientific compromise was allowed (or missed) in the very process of breeding genes. They didn’t interrogate us for a long time, but the businessmen were busy.

This biotechnological waste can lead to global infertility, the extinction of living organisms on the planet, climate change and, as a result, to ruin of the biosphere.

You can try to avoid this ruining process. It is necessary to live the terminology to protect the population and territory of the region from them:

First of all, to protect the growth, purchase and purchase of all kinds of crops and such products from Russia;

in another way, to put under strict control the growth of such crops in the agricultural dominion and the presence of fields with such crops on the territory of Russia;

thirdly, products that contain such components are already available in the trade, labeled and sold in special sections in stores with a note that accompanies them, for example: “Heritages of genetic modification forged products unknown" or: "Genetically modified Lights may pose a threat to the health and life of people and creatures,” etc.

In this case, it is absolutely necessary to continue experimental research to create new modified organisms that would be safe for people and the average world.

However, it is necessary to be aware that new healthy organisms may be enriched with genetically modified plants that are already in nature, as is the case with common plants and traditional varieties.

It is necessary to widely develop traditional crops, carry out special work on replanting genetically modified crops with traditional varieties, and create syntheses of existing varieties.

How can you avoid genetically modified products in your everyday life?

Namagatisya kupuvati products z markuvannyam “Do not take revenge on GMOs”.

To finish: at this hour the world is close 95% soy is genetically modified.

It is important to eat offal, in small portions, strictly this year, or only when you are really hungry.

Take some time to listen to your body. If your body does not accept any product, it is better to get rid of something new.

If you feel bad about yourself, call a doctor, because for any reason it is impossible to cleanse the body.

Surely, the time will come when products obtained using biotechnological methods will become safe.

Vcheni actively practice. In the meantime, protect yourself and your loved ones from dangerous genetically modified products.

The Association of American Medicines called for a moratorium on GMOs

William Engdahl

The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) recently issued a call for a permanent moratorium on genetically manipulated (GMO) foods. In its recent release outlining its position on GMO food, the AAEM affirms that “GM food poses a serious health hazard” and calls for a moratorium on GMO foods.

Citing a number of evidence about research on animals, the AAEM has concluded that “there are even contradictory connections between GMO products and harmful consequences for health” and that “GM hedgehogs pose serious health risks in the world” toxicology, allergies and immune functions, reproductive health and impaired speech metabolism, physiological and genetic health.”

This evidence represents a serious blow to the multi-billion-dollar international agricultural business, especially to the Monsanto corporation, the leading light supplier of GMOs and herbicides associated with them.

In a press release issued on June 19, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, which identifies itself as an “international association of physicians and other physicians, is involved in the clinical aspects of the "I'm going to bring more serenity to the pack," she called out before the onset of emergencies that may be expected from living in the life of GMO products. :

Moratorium on GMOs; the development of a comprehensive, long-term safety testing and labeling of GMO food.

Doctors are responsible for treating their patients, medical complexity and enormity, which is unique to GMO products.

Doctors are responsible for respecting the role of GMO food in prolonging the illness of their patients.

There is a need for more independent long-term scientific research on data collection and prevention of the influx of GMO food on people's health.

The head of the AAEM, Dr. Emi Ding, says that “multiple studies on animals have shown that GM food causes damage to various organs in the body. Therefore, it is increasingly important to introduce a moratorium on GM food products in order to ensure the safety of our patients and the population in the area of health protection.”

AAEM President Dr. Jennifer Armstrong said that “clinicians are incredibly guarded against leaving their patients without knowing how to provide proper nutrition. The most widely used food products in Western America, which are not GMOs, are corn, soybeans, beans, and butter.”

A document outlining the AAEM's position on genetically modified food products can be found at www.aaemonline.org.

The article shows that the technology of genetically modified organisms (GMO) “cancels natural reproductive processes, selects on the same level of cells, this procedure is even a mutagen and regularly damages genetic Barriers, this method is only used on a commercial basis for 10 years.”

The AAEM document further states that “a number of animal studies show serious health risks associated with GM foods, including infertility, immune dysregulation, accelerated aging, and genetic dysregulation.” related to cholesterol synthesis, insulin regulation , cell signaling, as well as changes in the liver, liver, spleen and intestinal tract.”

They add: “There are more and more serious connections between GM food and unpleasant consequences for health. Є causal intelligence, according to Hill's criteria (Hill's Criteria), in the areas of positive connection, usability, specificity, biological gradient and biological plausibility

The level of positive communication and convenience between GM food and diseases has been confirmed by lower research on animals.”

GMOs are toxic

The AAEM document may be presented for an official rethink of the current policy of non-involvement in the regulation of GMOs, with the word of the word of GMO producers such as Monsanto being seen as scientifically based evidence of safety.

The AAEM report is quoted in connection with this report:

“The specificity of the association between genetically modified grub products and specific diseases is also determined. Numerical studies in animals show significant immune dysregulation, including increased regulation of cytokines associated with asthma, allergies, and inflammation.

Studies on animals also show changes in the structure and function of the liver, including changes in lipids and carbohydrate metabolism, as well as changes in the metabolism, which can lead to accelerated aging and possibly lead to accumulation them forms kisnu (AFK). There were also documented changes in the burrows, the subslullous gland and the spleen.

A recent study from 2008 linked GM corn to infertility, showing a significant change in offspring over time, and therefore fewer mice that fed on GM corn. More than 400 genes identified in mice fed with GM corn look different. (Expressed differently).

These genes are responsible for the control of protein synthesis and modification, cell signaling, cholesterol synthesis and insulin regulation. "The studies also show a deterioration of the intestines of animals on the GM diet, including cell proliferation and increased damage to the intestinal immune system."

The AAEM study also has a look at the progress of the biotechnological industry, which suggests that GMO food products may contribute to the production of more high-yield varieties.

Vaughn, relying on counter-evidence, confirms that it is obviously true that the disease is worse, and those who, for a long time, were inferior to GMOs, the lower ones, and thirsted for more, not less, Bicidal chemicals such as glyphosate.

It is said that “number of thousands of field trials have been carried out to replicate the remaining 20 results in the search for genes directed to the advancement of operational and internal productivity (cultures), indicating the significance of the strength. Tim not less, even from these field trials did not lead to an increase in the yield of commercialized largest grub/fodder crops, behind the blame of Bt corn.”

This is a real gain in the yield of Bt corn, in other words, “mainly through traditional breeding,” rather than GMOs.

It is clear that the fragments of GMO products “create serious health hazards in toxicology, allergies and immune function, reproductive health, speech metabolism, physiological and genetic health and do not bring years, then AAEM respects what is necessary Adopt the principle of conservation, which is one of the main instruments of environmental regulation and health policy in the European Union, as well as the basis of low international standards.

The most widely accepted conclusion is from the Rio de Janeiro Declaration in 1992, which states: “The protection of too much middle ground by the powers is due to the widespread stagnation of a careful approach to their possibilities.

There, where there is a threat of serious and irreversible harm, the presence of new scientific importance is not to be considered as a reason for the development of cost-effective approaches to avoid the devastation of our a lot of middle ground."

Under the intense pressure of enormity, the German Minister of Agriculture recently saw the fence for planting GMO corn MON810 from Monsanto. Unfortunately, two years later, the planting of GMO potatoes was allowed.

Amflora, genetically modified chemical giant potato BASF(Monsanto's joint venture with GMOs) was deafened by the German ministry, as it would not create "a huge risk for human health or the environment."

The Ministry set out to “examine” those negotiations with scientific and economic experts, which formed the basis of this reckless decision.

The publication of sensational criticism of GMOs by the American Academy of Environmental Medicine attracted the attention of most of the great American media and the international press.

GMO policy

At my book , I will describe in detail how at the beginning of the 1990s, GMOs were introduced to the wider public in the United States, presumably until the decision of the then President George Herbert Walker Bush, in recognition of the fact that there was a field of constriction behind the wired doors Monsanto kerivniki.

President Bush Sr. ordered that every government agency is not responsible for conducting every special medical and safety test before releasing a GMO product for food production. This principle has become known as the doctrine of essential equivalence.

The US government has decided to stop the marketing of grub products as GMOs, based on a vaguely formulated and completely unscientific “doctrine”, voted by President Bush in 1992 i. those that GMO crops and primary crops were “substantially equivalent” and, therefore, would not require special tests, but would not be consumed until recovery.

This Doctrine of Essential Equivalence, regardless of the fact that it directly contradicts GMO companies' claims for exclusive patent rights to their GMO crops, as "unique" and different from the original species, allowed " Monsanto, Dow Chemical, DuPont and Other GMO patent holders can distribute their products without any control.

Most Americans respect that the Food Inspectorate and the US Department of Agriculture are there to ensure that industrial food products are completely safe. And for people and creatures, first and foremost they will be licensed.

This de facto ban on the labeling of GMO grub products has led to the fact that the majority of Americans do not suffer from this phenomenon, as much as the inclusion of GMOs from their diet (from soy or corn) prevents the inclusion of GMOs.

Fearing the massive introduction of GMOs into the diet of people and animals, in the United States in the late 1990s, an epidemic of allergic illnesses among people, recent illnesses and more Other health problems.

The actual ban on the marketing of GMO products by federal law means that the majority of medical doctors are not affected by illnesses associated with the GMO diet of millions of Americans.

Since 1992, following the decision of President Bush Sr. (confirmed by Presidents Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama and the pro-GMO Minister of Agriculture Tom Vilsack), the US population was actually seen as a living population. The same guinea pigs in a mass experiment with rivers, that no one has ever undergone continuous long-term (ten or more years) monitoring of the current security for living.

One wonders how the scientific criticism of the AAEM rejects the respect it deserves.

Recording broadcast on September 29, 2016 on People's Slovyansky Radio - “Food Security: GMOs”

Head of the Svidoma - Irina Volodymyrivna Ermakova

I.V. Ermakova in 2005-2010. conducted research at the Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the testing of infused feed to contain GM soybeans (line 40.3.2), on laboratory bee-eaters and their offspring. This line of GM soybeans has been widely used in food products.

The results shocked those who followed. In the course of the experiments, pathology of the internal organs of the animals, disruption of the hormonal balance, changes in the behavior of the animals, a high mortality rate of newborns, immaturity and sterility of the children that survived were revealed.

In 2005 I.V. Ermakova asked the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences to repeat her investigation. However, experiments on mice and hamsters were repeated just a few times later at 2 institutes. In this case, similar results were obtained: pathology of internal organs, underdevelopment and infertility of offspring.

Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) - individually created using genetic engineering - are of particular interest, as they are widely used in food products in rich countries around the world. Most GMOs are removed by introducing a foreign gene from another organism into the genome of plants (vibrating the transport of the gene, or transgenization) by changing the power or parameters of the remaining ones, for example, removing plants that are resistant to frost, either coma, or pesticides, and so on.

Through war, such modifications result in the individual introduction of new genes into the genome of the organism, then. This is a device that will be stored in the body itself for future generations.

However, the literature contains more data about the deterioration of the physiological state and behavior of animals, which is indicated by pathological changes in internal organs, damage to the reproductive functions of animals and the immaturity of offspring when anna do GMO feed.

In this case, both transgenes, which are selected for propagation, and the very methods of propagation of foreign genetic material are important. To induce genes, vicoristic viruses or plasmids (circular DNA) of the dust-producing agrobacterium will then penetrate the human body and then seize the human resources for the creation of the impersonality of power Or enter the human genome (as in “encountered” from it) (World scientific statement…, 200 ).

The lack of transmission and safety of GM organisms has been repeatedly discussed. In 2000, a statement of the world about the unsafety of genetic engineering was published (WorldScientistsStatement..., 2000), and then a shortlist of government authorities of all countries on the introduction of a moratorium on the expansion of GMOs, which was signed and 828 from 84 countries of the world (O000...).
None of these signatures are over 2 million.

Pathological changes in the internal organs of laboratory animals were detected by British researchers when GM potatoes were added to the feed (Pusztai, 1998, Ewen, Pusztai, 1999), Italian and Russian scientists - GM-co ї (Malatestaetal., 2002; 2006-2010), Australian colleagues - GM peas (Prescott et al., 2005), French and Austrian - GM corn (Seralinie et al., 2007; Velimirovetal., 2008). There were German and English studies that linked GMOs to cancer diseases (Doerfler, 1995; Ewen & Pusztai, 1999).

A recently published French study (Seralinietal., 2012, 2014) provides information about the occurrence of malignant fluff in bee-eaters that fed on GM corn (line NK603). Nina has seen over 1,300 reports about the unsafety of GMOs.

From various countries, reports have begun to emerge about the death of thinness caused by eating GM food. There are reports about the death of 20 cows in France, about the change in the offspring of pigs and the infertility of cows in Canada. Particularly shocking was the information from the German farmer Gottfried Glockner, who spent a whole series of measles after starting to grow them with transgenic Bt corn, as he himself had grown. GMO has a negative impact on the natural environment, causing degradation of the soil, infertility and death of living organisms.

In an attempt to protect themselves from GM crops, many countries have taken the path of increasing the introduction of GMOs or the organization of zones free of GMOs (ZGMO) (Kopeikina, 2007, 2008).

There are 38 countries that have officially endorsed GMOs, including Russia.
In Sichni 2015 The Russian Federation praised the bill on the fence of GMOs
However, the law has not yet been adopted through the strong lobby of those who have withdrawn profits from scientific grants for the creation and expansion of GMOs.

Our official website slavmir.org

According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, food security of the Russian Federation means “... the economy of the region, in which the food independence of the region is ensured, physical and economical availability for the skin is guaranteed a huge variety of grub products that comply with the legislation of the Russian Federation on technical regulation, in compliance with no less than rational standards the consumption of grub products, which is necessary for an active and healthy life.”

In broad terms, “food security” is the activity of a power to ensure uninterrupted supplies (both external and internal) of food and satisfy the food needs of its citizens. For the possible implementation of these goals, on the 1st of 2010 the Doctrine of Food Security of the Russian Federation was adopted.

Food security of the Russian Federation is one of the main directions of ensuring the national security of the region in the mid-century perspective, the official of the preservation of state power and sovereignty, the most important warehouse demographic policy, necessary mental implementation of the strategic national priority - promoting the quality of life of Russian communities by guaranteeing high standards of living security.

In order to determine the level of food security, it is necessary to take as a criterion the supply of processed agricultural products, fish products and food products from the foreign market and supply with the import of these goods. Threshold values are consistent with the indicators shown in Table 1.

Table 1

Threshold values for food products

This is relevant not just now, but also in the long term. In this way, the Strategy of National Security of the Russian Federation until 2020 is broken down. According to this document, the national interests of the power lie in the increased competitiveness of the national economy, transformed by the Russian Federation into a world power, whose activities are directly supported to strategic stability and mutually beneficial partnerships in the minds of the richly polar world.

A strategic method of food security is to provide the population of the region with safe agricultural products, fish and other products from aquatic bioresources (hereinafter referred to as fish products) and food. This achievement is guaranteed by the stability of internal production, as well as the availability of necessary reserves and reserves.

This article is based on the analysis of the safety of agricultural products.

If we look at the situation in this sphere in the West, then over the last forty years the agricultural dominion in these countries has been radically transformed. This area of activity has passed from the hands of “family farmers” to the hands of giant global agribusiness concerns, as a result of which there has been no increase in the cost of harvested agricultural products for the area that has been further developed huddle, and their capacity is multiplied by the path of change “yakost”. The first transgenic products were developed in the United States by the large military chemical company Monsanto back in the 80s. Z 1996 The acreage of cultivated areas under transgenic crops has grown in 50 times and already in 2005. became 90 million hectares (17% of the land area). The largest number of these areas are sown in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina and China.

How the food supply has changed and become degraded. The legacy of this race for the quantity of waste products is the emergence of new illnesses, which have not yet been identified, a change in diet and, especially, an obese nation. According to some estimates, over 70% of agricultural products consumed by Americans are genetically modified (genetically modified GMO organisms).

“The promotion of GMO crops is accompanied by smooth propaganda that they produce more crops per hectare and require fewer chemical herbicides. Offended by theses. These days, GMOs have been praised by the American government without much revision, starting with President George H. W. Bush, who issued general regulations in 1992. GMOs are part of a long-term food supply program in the United States aimed at managing the global food supply through patented products."

GMO vikorista has a lot of products in its products, zokrema. and worldwide visibility of the company. According to the data of “Greenpeace”, its growing enterprise now produces vicarious cheese (products) grown on the basis of GMOs [Table. 2].

Over 140 lines (species and subspecies) of genetically modified plants have been allowed to spawn in the world.

In Russia today, GMO production has been suppressed. Prote import of food products containing genetically modified components is permitted. Mostly modified soybeans, corn, potatoes and beetroot are imported to Russia from the USA. According to the data of the national association of genetic safety, on the Russian food market, about 30-40% of food products are GMO. Over the past three years, the association has identified GMOs in the products of such companies as Nestle, Mikoyan, Campomos, etc.

Our spіvvіchniki, since the survey was carried out by the Levada Center in 2011 (The survey was carried out on 23-27 June for a representative all-Russian sample of the city and rural population in the middle of 1600 b in 18 years and older in 130 settlements of 45 regions of the country. These data do not exceed 3.4%) even negatively to this innovation in the production of agricultural products [table. 3].

Just as in 2003, 47% of respondents were interested in food, then 8 years later the number of such respondents dropped by a factor of 3 to 15%. The intensity of those who are negative about these innovations has increased significantly: from 41 to 81% over the same period of time. There was also a sharp decrease in the number of those who positively assessed this innovation: while in 2003 there were 12% of them, then by 2011 they lost only 4%.

It is also necessary to analyze the awareness of residents of our region about the power of this type of product.

To ask: “What do you know about genetically modified foods?” In 2003, 70% of respondents did not know anything, in contrast to 24% in 2011, and 30% had little information about such innovations in the development of agricultural products in 2003. In 2011, the number of those who reported it was 7 5%.

Based on all that has been said, it can be stated that Russia is very skeptical and unenthusiasm about the development and creation of synthetic products to replace GMOs.

There are many people who have expressed their fears about the drive of vikoristannya GMOs as a food product. The National Academy of Sciences has indicated that most of the research supporting the safety of GMOs has been conducted or funded by companies involved in the development and sale of GM material. Since such companies are heavily involved in the commercialization of GMOs, such investigations cannot be considered objective.

Independent laboratory tests, including Russian ones, have shown that, when matched with the control group, laboratory patients who were on a GMO diet demonstrated a sharply accelerated growth of organs, significantly our child mortality rate and brain constriction.

Find out more about the research of previous generations who consumed GMO products. The introduction of GMOs can lead to untransferable inheritances, as well as the emergence of new toxins and proteins that cause allergic reactions and other health problems.

One of the applications of non-transferable inheritance may be a gene for resistance to antibiotics, which is detected in the production of low GM crops. Research has shown that such genes can transmit resistance to bacteria in the grass tract, rendering them insensitive to clinically important antibiotics. The European Union (EU) has adopted the same gene since 2008. The UN Food Committee CODEX also recommended that you take advantage of this gene.

The food supply is fast: because it is so difficult to transfer the heritage of food into food products to replace GMOs, there is a change in the minds of the population in Russia and an improvement in the health of the Russian Federation. Problems with imported and imported products of such products?

According to the data from the survey of young people from the Moscow region (sample of 400 respondents, people aged 16 to 30 took part), conducted in 2010, at least half of the respondents (44.47%) rated their health as normal or trash. and even more 14% - good [table. 4] 1 .

Table 4

Assessing your health

Since young people are already looking forward to their health, it is essential to aggravate the situation with the possible adoption of GMO products.

Currently, Russia has 16 lines of GM crops allowed (6 lines of corn, 3 lines of soybeans, 3 lines of potatoes, 2 lines of rice, 2 lines of beetroot) and 5 types of microorganisms miv. There are not a lot of permitted varieties, but there is a stink in a lot of products. GM components are present in bakery products, meat and dairy products. There are plenty of them in children's food, especially for the little ones. The largest additive is GM soybean, resistant to Roundup herbicide.

The Commission of the State Ecological Expertise for assessing the safety of GM crops, which operates within the framework of the Russian Federation Law “On Ecological Expertise”, did not recognize any submissions for confirming the safety line.

GMOs have a negative impact not only on humans, but also on plants, animals, and germ bacteria (for example, SHKT bacteria (dysbacteriosis), soil bacteria, rot bacteria, etc.), leading to a rapid reduction in their numbers and further nickname. For example, the decline of soil bacteria leads to degradation of the soil, rot bacteria - the corpses do not rot, and ice-decomposing bacteria - a sharp change in litter. To what extent the deterioration of living organisms can lead, it’s hard to imagine - to the point of becoming too middle-class, climate change, and the rapid and irrevocable destruction of the biosphere.

In this manner, turning to the food security of the Russian Federation, it is necessary to emphasize that due to the inadequacy of the developed technologies for the creation of GMO products, which will lead to serious insecurity for the health of Russians. The presence (importation) of genetically modified products on the Russian market absolutely affects our defense against the growth of such products. To protect the population from harmfully infected GM crops, it is necessary to introduce mandatory labeling of GM components from food products, organize zones for free GMO production, purchase products from countries that are not respect GM crops and do not waste GM products . In such minds, it is necessary to actively develop their rural dominion and the production of moisture products, which will protect the spread of already permitted GM crops until they are brought up and scientifically proven in different countries of the world I'm sure I'm safe. The development of environmentally friendly and safe products is a priority directly for Russia, important for preserving the population of our region, nature and life not only here, but on the entire planet.

Today there is a lot of blame to blame for genetically modified foods. According to official data, GMOs are found in almost every tenth product sold in Russia. According to unofficial data, in other regions one third, or even half, of food products are stored.

It is very important to import up to 500 thousand. i.e. genetically modified ingredients from the USA, Brazil, Argentina, China. With the help of genetic engineering, grow soybeans, corn, and rice. They add it to kovbas, frost, yoghurt, chocolate, sour cream, bread and navit to children's food. Genetically modified products are products that are intended to be a substitute or a substitute for genetically modified organisms or GMOs.

The problem of the use of GMI is relevant because the economic interests of rich countries come at the expense of basic human rights. There is still no new information about them and all the traces of their lives. Perhaps, in the future, regardless of the protests of environmentalists, pure meat and vegetables will become rare and expensive. And in order to preserve your health and the health of future generations, you can easily grow vegetables and fruits in your garden plots and not be left behind by the unsophisticated products imposed on us.

The development of marriage will require the introduction of new technologies in our life. Virology of genetically modified products is the most important achievement of modern science. You can bring me a bark, or even the most magnificent Skoda. Over the years, transgenic foods have become a popular topic of discussion among PMI. It is possible that these products will help eliminate the threat of hunger that hangs over humanity, eliminating valuable life-long sayings that there were shortages in basic products, which may increase their appearance and, say, stink - the key to the health of the economy . It’s amazing that the new “miracle of science” can cause a series of environmental disasters, unsafe illnesses and mutations in people. In a dozen years, our generation will have to face the legacy of today’s lack of turbocharged people, who, without any concern for the insecurity, live with genetically modified soybeans, corn or potatoes.

Meta research:determine the presence of GMOs in food products and their biological role.

Object of investigation:genetically modified food products

Zavdannya:

  1. Read theoretical material about the proliferation and development of GMOs, the impact of GM products on people's health.
  2. Additional information on live packaging about the presence and presence of GMOs in food products from the Engels stores
  3. Increased information will help to infuse other components of GMOs into human health.
  4. Conduct a sociological survey of the population.
  5. Understand how the control of the Federal Services is carried out in relation to the control of imported agricultural and food products other than GMOs.

Formulate guidelines and develop recommendations for those who want to benefit from genetically altered food products.

Hypothesis: I admit that genetically modified food products are harmful to human health.

1. The theoretical part of the robot.

1.1. What are GMOs?

In the future, the abbreviation GMO is becoming more and more common in the press, and people often talk about products of the future, but what kind of products? A genetically modified organism (GMO) is a living organism whose genotype has been individually changed using genetic engineering methods. Such changes are made using scientific and lordly methods. Genetically modifying an organism is the result of the development of genetic engineering technologies, which allow the genes of the DNA of one organism to be introduced into another, thereby developing resistance to pesticides, resistance to diseases, advancement in birth rate too. Donors can be microorganisms, viruses, other species, creatures and people. Fahivtsi, who vibrate GM crops, declare about their complete safety and impart deceit, and others talk about the potential unsafety of genetically modified products, while others respect that genetic engineers should the same work as traditional breeders, but using different methods. Ale nastrudі tse negarazd.

In case of initial hybridization, crossbreeding is carried out between species: wheat is crossed with wheat, livestock is crossed with livestock, and so on. What is a genetically modified product? When transgenic, there are no natural boundaries. Wheat can be “crossed” with papaya, cod, cholera bacteria, or by transferring the DNA of other people’s genes through molecular manipulation, and not with the help of additional plating. The axis of the application from American practice: so that the tomatoes and half are frost-resistant, they are “implanted” with the genes of spawning fish; so that the corn is not devoured by swindlers, it can be pinched by an even active gene, taken from the snake; In order for your thinness to gain weight, growth hormone changes occur (and when milk is filled with hormones that cause cancer); So that soybean is not afraid of herbicides, it produces the genes of petunia, as well as other bacteria and viruses. Soy is one of the main components of many feeds for thinness and up to 60% of food products. Fortunately, in Russia, as well as in many countries of Europe, genetically altered agricultural crops (there are over 30 species in the world) are not yet expanding at such a crazy pace as in the United States, which is officially enshrined Identity of “natural” and “transgenic” products. life.

70% of imported products and about 30% of processed products are genetically modified.

1.2. Historical background.

Persha transgenic Roslina bula was removed in 1983. at the InstituteRoslinnitstva in Cologne. Born in 1992 China has begun to develop transgenic breastfeeding, which is resistant to mosquitoes. Born in 1994 The first genetically modified vegetable has appeared on the shelves of American supermarkets - a tomato, which is not afraid of transportation and retains its marketable appearance for a long time. In appearance, these tomatoes are unique: round, red, with varnish skin, meaty, with a small amount of fruit. The stench multiplies with hypersonicity, is persistent to low temperatures and illnesses. Varieties selected with the help of genetic engineering produce 4–5 times more yield than the original. The emerging wonder of bioengineering was the potato, about which Russian city dwellers are simply dying. The Colorado potato beetle cannot be cured - the potato genome has a bacterium gene “built in” that produces a fatal attack for the pest: the beetles’ chitin breaks down, the hard parts of the body become soft, and the stinks die. For a long time, I don’t think we thought about other comas that sit on potatoes, and were sick, when snowstorms, snowstorms, sunflowers, nareshti, and bjolis began to die. Behind them, the birds begin to die out, as they do not wash the stern. Biological lancets are tearing, as nature has created billions of fates. In the United States there are already over 100 varieties of crops with transplanted “genes”. The carrots became more licorious, juicy and crunchy, the celery became richer in ingredients that enhance the taste. Corn synthesizes moisture toxins to kill mosquito bugs and corn borer larvae. In Canada, beetroot, resistant to herbicides, has been removed. A gene from cabbage was transplanted into grapes, which increased their frost resistance. Genetic engineering has created a mechanism that allows foreign DNA to be introduced into the genome of plants, animals and people. So, a cow, having removed the gene for human milk albumin, produces milk, which stores not only cow’s proteins, but human proteins, and therefore, the milk is more easily digestible.

The number of genetically modified products is growing: in the United States, 24 companies are engaged in their production on 92 million hectares. Data on the influx of genetically modified products into the human body have not yet been published in the literature. Today, over 120 species of genetically modified crops have been separated: soybean, corn, rice, bavovna, watermelon, cucumber, pepper, dinya.

There are many of these crops on an industrial scale in the USA, Argentina, Canada, Australia, China, Mexico, Spain, France, New Africa, Portugal, Romania, Japan, and India.

Genetically modified products that survive are the subject of heated debate. At this time, the idea that GMO products do not cause harm to the human body is widely accepted, and opponents of this idea have even their own arguments.

1.3. Dumka of GMO lovers.

GMF and their vikoristannya may in the future have an impact on the social and economic spheres of people’s lives. Today, GMOs are the cheapest and most economically safe (as the growers believe) method for the production of grub products. New technologies can solve the problem of food shortages, otherwise the population of the Earth will not survive. The population of the Earth is growing rapidly. According to UN data, the closest 35 countries will increase to 10 billion people. It is necessary to restore the light production of agricultural products, which is impossible without the stagnation of transgenic plants. The yield of transgenic plants is 15-20% higher than that of traditional crops, because Transgenic plants may have increased resistance to illness and disease. There is no reduction in the living value of their products. It is understood that the productivity of potatoes, if they are not attacked by the Colorado potato beetle, will be higher. Transgenic plants allow for more effective harvesting of agricultural crops (in normal areas it is simply impossible to eat up a large amount of traditional food), in addition, they contain fruits necessary for location in areas with unstable weather conditions.

The yield of modified plants has been increased to allow for the rapid release of mineral fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, which have a negative effect on the human body. This means that GMP is equivalent to traditional products. In addition, GMP may be higher in contrast to vitamins, valuable living substances. Transgenic products are a source of healthy food. Low-calorie soy has been consumed. Transgenic varieties of corn, soybeans and ripaku contain vegetable oil, which has a reduced amount of vegetable fats, and potatoes and corn contain more starch and less water. Improved tomatoes, watermelon and potatoes retain vitamins C, A and b-carotene better. For countries where rice is mainly used as food, this variety is extracted from the addition of vitamins and microelements. Someone now has vitamin A and a solution that can help prevent people from getting sick due to their lack of health. I, nareshti, GMP food is safe, because Foreign DNA in the human body breaks down into mononucleotides and is re-etched, and then cannot be incorporated into the human genome.

In addition, GMOs are widely criticized by medicine. So, back in 1982, genetically modified bacteria were eliminated during the production of human insulin. Doctors believe that, through the use of genetics, one can develop immunity from such dangerous illnesses as HIV, bird flu, swine flu, etc. It is expected that GMOs will contribute to the fight against old age. The development of genetically modified bacteria is underway, which will produce environmentally friendly firewood, and genetically modified trees will produce more trees.

The GMP will already pay off quickly and bring great benefits. In the world, 150 million hectares are occupied by transgenic crops (THC), of which 66% are in the USA, 22% in Argentina. THC yields are 15–25% higher than those of traditional crops, and their potency is lower. Firms engaged in the extraction of such wealth have a capital of approximately 700 billion dollars. The rural dominion is becoming self-sustaining. The prevalence of GMF is steadily increasing. It’s worth worrying about mass purchases of such products.

The advantages of the GMP vikoristan are obvious. Adopters of transgenic products in Russia (Institute of Food of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Agriculture, Center for Bioengineering of the Russian Academy of Sciences) confirm that foreign DNA and genes are being lost to us Every day. If it enters the body of a person, the stench cannot be absorbed into the human genotype, and there is no risk of harm caused by GMF.

1.4. Dumka opponents of GMOs.

Genetic engineering is a very young science, apparently, the methods for ensuring the safety of this product have not yet been developed. The very mechanism of creation of genetically modified organisms is not yet subject to complete control. These products are a bomb with enhanced action. The stinks appeared 15 years ago, and the proper safety for people has not yet been achieved. There are no compelling arguments about the proliferation of their living authorities. The evidence suggests that transgenic plants have developed comas that are more resistant to chemicals, and they are needed in greater quantities.
Cultivation of THC can destroy the biological diversity of regions where parent species have emerged. It is unknown how the plants of transgenic plants, transported by birds to distant places, will behave in other biocenoses. The transfer of genes of altered growth in the Buryan chromosome can lead to the emergence of new organisms from non-transferred ones, including potentially unsafe authorities. Thus, the transfer of sawing by gnats from transgenic plants to the original plants can lead to the appearance of superbush.

The use of GMP can lead to the following side effects:

  • the appearance of allergic reactions, which are by no means innocent. For example, in the USA, where GM products are easily consumed, about 70% of the population suffer from allergies. In Sweden, where such products are under control, it is less than 7%. It's unlikely that you'll get away with it;
  • destruction of the structure of the mucous membrane of the scutum, the appearance of intestinal microflora resistant to antibiotics.
  • decreased immunity of the entire body (70% of human immunity is in the intestines), as well asdisruption of speech exchange .
  • GMO foods can cause cancer. Transgenics may arise from the genetic apparatus of intestinal microorganisms, and this is also a mutation. Apparently, cellin mutations themselves lead to the development of cancer cells.

And other facts that confirm the negative influx of GM organisms:

  • The last mice, which were one year old with GMF, gave birth to small offspring with weakened immunity and a tendency to fertilizationIn Russia, the research of Irina Ermakova from the Institute of Nervous Activity and Neurophysiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences had a great resonance - there was an influx on the health of the pike and their offspring of one of the genetically modified varieties noi soi. According to Ermakova, the introduction of this soybean variety to the diet of the beetles resulted in low negative physiological effects.. The British have already found that the more areas are occupied by THC, the fewer mosquitoes there are and, as a result, the number of birds and other creatures decreases, which leads to the destruction of the ecological flow. It has been reported that many Komakh (Metelikiv, Sonechka, Meteliki, Bjoli) began to die by eating transgenic potatoes. Therefore, the skin of the GMP and the inheritance of this trival vikoristannya are to blame but are carefully treated. However, all the tests of GMF that were carried out were short-term, and the negative impact on a person or their offspring can appear in a very difficult hour. It’s still too early to talk about the value of reducing the country’s expenditures under the influence of the GMF, and it is not yet clear how many pennies will be needed to renovate the possible destruction of biocenoses, which nature has created in millions of rocks.

1.5. Classification of products that are non-GMO.

The Russian Federation does not produce products that are non-GMO, but, pursuant to federal legislation, it is possible to import such products. Zokrem, the territory of the Russian Federation is allowed to import 14 types of products that do not contain GMOs: 6 lines of corn, 3 each of soybeans, potatoes, one line of beetroot and rice.Modified varieties of soybeans, corn, and potatoes are widely used in industrial products - milk powder, cereal porridges, canned meat and vegetables, bakery and confectionery products.

Products containing GMOs can be divided into three categories:

  1. Products containing GM ingredients (mainly transgenic corn and soybeans). These additives are added to food products as structurers, salts, barberries, and also as ingredients that replace protein.
  2. Products of transgenic cheese processing (for example, soy cheese, soy milk, chips, corn plastic, tomato paste).
  3. Transgenic vegetables and fruits, and possibly also creatures that easily live in hedgehogs.

GMOs are included in the warehouse of a wide variety of food products. For example, GM corn is added to confectionery and bakery products, and soft drinks. GM soybeans enter the warehouse of refined olives, margarines, baking fats, salad sauces, mayonnaise, pasta ingredients, boiled sausage, confectionery ingredients, protein supplements, food for animals and children's food . Soybeans are used to produce emulsifiers, such as thickening agents and stabilizers for the food industry. (Addator A.)

1.6. Basic benefits for the labeling of GM products.

The world has different approaches to labeling GMO grub products. In Canada, Argentina, these products are not labeled; in EU countries, a threshold level of 0.9% has been adopted; in Japan and Australia – 5%. In this case, the introduction of a threshold level instead of GMOs, where it is necessary to label grub products, is not related to national safety, but is intended to inform the population about the alternative technologies for the extraction of grub products.

2004 year of adoptionsFederal Law No. 171-FZ "On Amendments to the Law of the Russian Federation "On the Protection of the Rights of Spouses" . In addition to other benefits, we add additional benefits to information about GM products. In accordance with this law, “information about the presence in food products of components removed from frozen genetically modified organisms” must be included on the product label.

On January 12, 2007, the Federal Law “On the Protection of the Rights of Livestock” was introduced, which introduced an additional requirement for the availability of food products with information about the presence of components removed from GMOs in them. the place of assignment of organisms to such a component is determined over 0.9%. Instead of grub products having less than 0.9% GMO, they are specially labeled.

Thus, when purchasing products in a store with labels, you can immediately identify the possibility of GMOs in the product. As there is a notice on the label that the product is manufactured in the USA and in its warehouse it contains soybeans, corn, turnips and potatoes, there is a great chance that it does not contain GM components.

Most products, which are based on soybeans, are not grown in the USA, but outside Russia, and may also be transgenic. Even though the label says “leaf protein”, this means that soybean is incredibly transgenic. GMOs can often be listed as E indexes. However, this does not mean that all E additives are GMO or transgenic. It is simply necessary to know which E may, in principle, be GMOs or their derivatives.

First of all, soy lecithin or lecithin E 322: binds water and fats together and is vicorized, like a fatty element in milk mixtures, ovens, chocolate, riboflavin (B2) and also known as E 101 and E 101A, maybe these preparations from GM microorganisms. The wine is added to porridges, non-alcoholic drinks, children's food and weight loss products. Caramel (E 150) and xanthan (E 415) can also be made from GM grains.

Other additives that may contain GM components: E 153,

E 160d, E 161c, E 308-9, E-471, E 472a, E 473, E 475, E 476b, E 477, E479a, E 570, E 572, E 573, E 620, E 621, E E 633, E 624, E 625, E951.

It is important that the writing on the product “modified starch” means that the product is GMO. In fact, starch modification is controlled by chemical means without the use of genetic engineering. But starch itself can be a genetic engineering step, as it was taken from GM corn and GM potatoes.

1.7. Control over GMO products in the Saratov region.

Saratov has one of the first regional laboratories to conduct tests for the presence of transgenic DNA in food products. Saratov recently developed a method for testing products for the presence of genetically modified microorganisms (GMM). The advancement of this methodology has made it possible to expand the scope of examination and follow-up of dairy products made from sourdough, bakko concentrates, bioactive additives, fermented products (beer, kvass), salted and pickled vegetables, bread. In total, the Russian laboratory tested 193 samples, including: 26 samples of meat products, 39 samples of dairy products, 49 of oil-fat products, 24 of bakery and confectionery products, 25 samples of canned goods , 17 – pasta and cereals. Products from instead of GMOs have a content of over 0.9%, which requires information for residents to be included on the packaging. However, there are still the same secret figures for the average Russian citizen who have genetically modified organisms: according to Rosspozhivnaglyad - 1.7% of transgenes, according to Greenpeace (perhaps higher) - 4%.

Workers of the territorial branch of the Federal Service Administration, with the supervision of the protection of the rights of livestock and well-being of people in the Saratov region in the Engelsk district, are collecting samples of grub products for laboratory investigations. Call for 4-5 samples from various retail outlets in the area. Samples should be sent to the Federal State Institution “Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Saratov Region” to the laboratory for the investigation of biological factors.

After about an hour, you will find an official confirmation containing information about the product, country of origin, addresses, release date, etc.

2. The robot part is practical.

2.1. Analysis of information on packaging material about the presence and availability of GMOs

In accordance with the Federal Law, on goods containing GMOs, the entry “genetically modified products” or “Products taken from genetically modified organisms” may be added. To verify this data within the framework of my pre-investigative work, I scanned the warehouse of various grub products for the presence of GM components, from the labels on food packages on the shelves of the “Family” supermarkets in Engels. During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that most products are not labeled as a substitute for the presence of GMOs. The inscription “No GMOs” was found on the packaging of 17 products. The investigation allows us to make the following findings:

  1. All retail outlets in Engels have grub products, which have not been detected.
  2. Information on live packaging about the presence of GMI is not always reliable.
  3. It is important to know that GMI can be found under indexes and can negatively affect the body of a person, especially children.

In case of special labeling, it is important to know the following information about the product:

  • There is a note on the label that the product is a product of fermentation in the USA and in its warehouse there is soybean, corn, turnip, potato - the most common GM component.
  • As a product of fermentation in the USA and in its warehouse, it is “spring protein” - the most expensive transgenic soybean.
  • Index E designates additives in dairy products, baked goods, chocolate, yoghurts, etc., which are identical to natural ones and can be made from GM grains (not all contain GM components).
  • The writing “Modified starch” always means that the product is GMO. Yogo can be controlled by chemical means without the use of genetic engineering. Ale yaksho yogo otrimano s GM-corn and GM-potatoes, then this is also a representative of GM-products.

2.2. Sociological experience.

While working on the research, I learned a lot about genetically modified products and their influx into the human body, but the majority of the population is not aware of their food products, which are daily consumed on their table. We decided to conduct a sociological study in order to identify and increase the respect of simple purchases on data on product packages about GMOs. All respondents were given the following meals:

  1. Have you ever wondered about GMOs?
  2. Do you pay attention to the packaging of food products instead of GMOs?
  3. Are you tempted to buy a product that contains GMOs?
  4. What will you give preference to vegetables and fruits grown naturally or to fruits and vegetables with dyed savory berries and trivial terms of preservation, and also grown with GMO ingredients?
  5. Do you have enough time to get used to the GMP and can you be healthy?

83% of consumers are aware of GMOs, and 75% do not care about product packaging. 66% are willing to purchase products containing GMOs instead, 92% of those who eat naturally grown vegetables and fruits are willing to eat them, and 93% are aware that the use of GMOs can harm their health. (Addator B.)

Smut food is a safe genetically modified products for humans, so far there is no evidence, as there is no reliable information about the results of their survival, but their negative influence on the background is noted of these creatures. Thus, the hypothesis has not been fully confirmed. Tim no less, most people are afraid of transgenic products, so it is important that the widespread stagnation of GMF is unacceptable until their safety will not be ensured. It is also the responsibility of each person to be informed about the presence of GMO products on sale and to independently make decisions before purchasing them.

Perhaps, in the future, regardless of the protests of environmentalists, pure meat and vegetables will become rare and expensive. And in order to preserve your health and the health of future generations, when choosing products at the store, watch out for the current recommendations:

  1. When choosing products, pay attention to labeling. The designation “GMI” or “GM” means that the product contains transgenic components.
  2. If the product does not contain more than 0.9% GMOs, the pharmaceutical company can put the “No GMOs” symbol on its product. This marking is voluntary.
  3. Behind the labels you can also check the possible presence of GMOs in the product:
  • Since there is a notice on the label that the product is manufactured in the USA and in its warehouse it contains soybeans, corn, turnips and potatoes, there is a great chance that it does not contain GM components;
  • because the label proudly bears the inscription “alpine protein”, which, more than anything, is soybean and is incredibly transgenic;
  • GMOs can often be listed as E indexes. However, this does not mean that all E additives are GMO or transgenic. It is simply necessary to know which E may in principle be GMOs or their derivatives.
  1. Buy vegetables that vary in size, enjoy glossy, large tomatoes, gorgeous half-caps, and apples “just like in the picture.” Nature creates vegetables that are not entirely “beautiful” and not of ideal shape. All GM vegetables are preserved for a long time and look just perfect.
  2. It is important to give preference to Russian products to the fact that genetically modified agricultural crops do not grow in our country. However, let’s not forget that Russia still imports products that include GMOs.
  3. Access to all relevant information is ensured by government agencies: the Rosspozhivnaglyad website is regularly updatedRegistry grub milk, which has been registered in Russia and is GM-dzherela. There is still not enough information to determine which products contain GMOs, or the names of the companies that purchased the GM syrup. Please note that if you purchase products from the store, you can also refer to this information.
  4. It is necessary to know the great corporations that have representatives all over the world that promote GMOs: Coca-Cola, Nestle, Mars, Danon, PepsiCo. Genetically modified products are being used at some McDonald's restaurants. I have included these recommendations in the booklet, which has expanded among the students of our technical school. (Addator V.)

Visnovok

Genetically modified organisms confirm the superiority of man over nature. The possibility of possessing organisms that are not found in nature, with a set of genes selected from the quirks of humans, allows people to actually carry out the evolution of plants and creatures in laboratory minds. Along with a whole set of advantages that GMOs pose (high yield, frost and dry resistance, resistance to pesticides and herbicides), there is also a number of currently unresolved problems: This regulatory framework that regulates the control of the expansion of GMOs, safety assessment systems GMOs, the impossibility of identifying the inheritance of expanded GMOs for nature and people, and the presence of GMOs in the food products we eat today is not declared by growers.

Genetically modified products have become one of the achievements of biology in the 20th century. People should always remember a simple regularity: every technology has obvious advantages and unknown disadvantages. I respect that it is possible to follow nature, but to go against its laws and the natural flow of life requires great care. And, regardless of the thoroughness of the human mind, not everything in the world is known or controlled by people. Therefore, we are against the stagnation of genetically modified products. The German philosopher F. Engels in “Dialectics of Nature” noted “... we must not be complacent about our victories over nature. We must take revenge for our skin. The skin of these people won, however, before those inheritances, which were insured by us, and on the other hand, the third day is entirely different, untransferred inheritances, which often reveal the inheritances of those who were the first.”

In order to live, and not to live in order to eat.

The bigger the hedgehogs, the more sick they are.

Benjamin Franklin

1. Introduction

Healthy food

Life does not stand still, the importance of fundamental understanding changes, including such a life as important for humanity as the hedgehog. Many people have agreed in the Duma that the growing rush of food products would be unbearable for the population of the Earth, which is steadily increasing, without the widespread advancement of scientific achievements. We are concerned about genetic jokes and their practical vicissitudes. The safety of genetically modified foods is one of the most actively discussed topics and is one of the most effective “horror stories” of today.

Today's non-GMO label can be applied to literally all products, including drinking water. Almost all products that don’t have this icon mean the product is cheap and you can’t do it every time. Of course, the main problem is the unsafe situation for humanity - minimal information, which is too negative to be of a negative nature.

The food official plays an important role in prevention, and in the treatment of many people who fall ill. Improper nutrition is one of the main causes of illness: poisoning of organs, illness associated with impaired metabolism of speech, disorders of the cardiovascular, respiratory, herbal and other systems; The effectiveness of immunity sharply decreases, which speeds up the triviality of life for the average person 8-10 years old.

In natural products, a large number of biologically active substances are detected in natural products, which sometimes occur in higher concentrations than in stagnated medicinal products. Nowadays, there are a lot of products, especially vegetables, fruits, porridge, greens, which can be used to cure various diseases. Most food products contain bactericidal actions that suppress the growth and development of various microorganisms. Thus, apple juice suppresses the development of staphylococcus, pomegranate juice suppresses the growth of salmonella, and crane juice is active against various intestinal, rotten and other microorganisms. In all respects, the antimicrobial power of cybula, as well as other products.

2. Main part

2.1.What are GMOs and GMPs?

Genetically modified organisms – these are organisms in which the genetic material (DNA) has been changed in a way that is impossible in nature. GMOs can remove DNA fragments from other living organisms.

Purpose elimination of genetically altered organisms - enhancement of the color characteristics of the output donor organism (resistance to damage, frost resistance, yield, calorie content, etc.) reduction in the quality of products . As a result, potatoes have been injected with the genes of soil bacteria, which kills the Colorado potato beetle, wheat has been implanted with the gene of the scorpion, tomatoes with the genes of the flounder, and soybeans with the genes of the bacteria.

Transgenic (genetically modified) These types of plants can be called in which the gene (or genes) are successfully functioning, transplanted from other types of plants or animals. To ensure that the recipient plant produces new benefits for people and authorities, resistance to viruses, herbicides, diseases and diseases of plants is increased. Kharcho products, extracted from such genetically modified crops, can have a brighter taste, look better and last longer. Also, such plants often produce richer and more stable yields than their natural counterparts.

Genetically modified (changed) product (GMP) - when observed in the laboratory, the gene of one organism is transferred to the cell of another. The axis of application from American practice: so that the tomatoes and half are frost-resistant, they are “implanted” with the genes of spawning fish; To prevent the corn from being devoured by swindlers, they can “pinch” an already active gene by tearing it off from the snake.

Before speaking, there is no need to confuse the terms “modifications” and “gene modifications”. For example, modifications of starch, which are included in the warehouse of most yoghurts, ketchup and mayonnaise, have no relation to GMO products. Modified starches are starches that people have modified for their needs. This can be done either physically (injection of temperature, pressure, moisture, radiation) or chemically. In another case, chemical reagents are used, which are permitted by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation as food additives. The most widespread way of introducing foreign genes into the growth apparatus is through the help of the bacterium Agrobacterium tumefaciens, which is pathogenic for the growths (literally translated from Latin - the bacterium that causes swelling). This bacterium inserts part of its DNA into the chromosomes of the plant it is infected with. However, this method does not work on all crops: agrobacterium, for example, does not infect such important grub crops as rice, wheat, and corn. There are other ways to do this. For example, you can use enzymes to break down the cell membrane of the plant cellulose, which allows direct penetration of foreign DNA, and place such purified cells in the cell, which will remove the DNA and any chemical substance that confuses її penetration into the cell. The microopenings in the cell membrane are opened with short pulses of high voltage, and DNA fragments can pass through the holes into the cell. Sometimes it is necessary to concentrate DNA in cells using a microsyringe under the control of a microscope.
As a result, already after 2-3 years of the beginning of the genetic engineering procedure, we will eliminate the growth with the necessary authorities. These plants can be resistant to viruses, to herbicides, to diseases and other harmful plants, and can produce colored food and savory fruits.
Generally GM products can be divided into the following categories:

1) products that contain GM ingredients (including transgenic corn and soybeans). They are added to food products as structured compounds, malt extracters and/or barberries, and also as compounds that replace protein;
2) products of processing of transgenic milk cheese (for example, soy cheese, soy milk, chips, corn plastic, tomato paste);

3) transgenic (genetically modified) vegetables and fruits.
As many creatures as there are, there are far fewer of them created. Butts can be used by:

Cows with increased fat content of milk.

A rabbit that glows in the dark, having snatched a gene from a jellyfish that produces fluorescence.

Salmon can live both in saltwater and in fresh water.

2.2. The reasons for the appearance of GMOs and GMPs

At the beginning of the 21st century, there are close to 5 billion people in the world. According to forecasts, by the end of the 21st century, the population of the Earth may increase to 10 billion. How can such a large number of people survive, while even 5 billion people in some countries are starving?

To solve this problem, humanity should not transfer biotechnology from the rural state. One of these technologies is GENE ENGINEERING. Genetically modified organisms are created using additional genetic engineering. The breeding of transgenic plants is currently one of the most promising areas of agro-breeding that is developing the most; They are driven by the necessary authorities, they extract richly in less time and allow the removal of growth from the given sovereign valuable signs, as well as the supply of authorities that have no analogues in nature. However, the remaining ones can be selected using genetic engineering methods to select varieties of plants that may improve resistance to dryness.

The creation of transgenic plants is developing along the following lines: 1. Selection of varieties of agricultural crops due to their high yield2. Removal of agricultural crops that produce a few crops per river (for example, Russia has remontant varieties of pollen that produce two crops per summer)3. Creation of varieties of agricultural crops, toxic species (for example, in Russia, development is underway to separate varieties of potato, leaves of which are highly toxic for the Colorado potato beetle and larvae)4. Creation of varieties of agricultural crops that are resistant to hostile climatic conditions (for example, dry-resistant transgenic plants that carry the scorpion gene in their genome)5. Creation of varieties of plants capable of synthesizing various animal proteins (for example, in China, a variety of milkweed has been developed that synthesizes human lactoferin)Thus, the creation of transgenic plants allows us to solve a whole range of problems, both agrotechnical and food, technological, pharmacological, etc. In addition, there are no pesticides or other types of organic chemicals that disrupt the natural balance of local ecosystems and cause harmful harm to the environment.

2.3. The history of the emergence of GMOs and GMPs
The threads of genetic engineering of plants lie back to the discovery of 1977, which allowed the development of the soil microorganism Agrobacterium tumefaciens as a means of introducing potentially genetic foreign genes into other plants.

The experimental creation of genetically modified organisms began in the 70s of the twentieth century. Born in 1992 In China, they have begun to grow thyme, which is resistant to pesticides. Born in 1994 In the United States, genetically modified tomatoes have appeared that are resistant to transportation, and the new government began to allow them to lie for months at an unattainable temperature of 12 degrees. If such a tomato is placed in a warm place, it will become mild within a few years. The leading role in genetic engineering of products is occupied by the United States. The Americans managed to change half-potatoes, tulips, and developed a variety of genetically modified potatoes that absorb less fat when lubricated. They are soon planning to produce giant cube-shaped tomatoes so that they can be easier to pack into boxes. The Swiss have begun to grow corn, as they see the moisture to be removed from the bad guys.

In Russia, genetically modified organisms only grow in experimental plots. Russia allows only 16 lines of genetically modified crops: 7 lines of corn, 4 lines of potatoes, 3 lines of soybeans, 1 line of rice and beetroot.Today, GMO products occupy more than 80 million hectares of agricultural land and grow more in 20 countries around the world

2.4. Analysis of products that are not GMOs and companies that produce GMOs

The International Organization for Biotechnology in Agriculture (ISAAA) published a compelling report about the proliferation of GMOs in the world. In 2011, cropland occupied by GM crops grew by 8% or by 12 million hectares and reached 160 million hectares. This means that today approximately 12% of the world's land is occupied by GM crops. Over 30% of all soybeans grown in the world, over 16% of bean crops and 7% of corn are generated through the use of genetic engineering.
Genetic engineering is quietly conquering the world. Products that resist transgenics: mainly soybeans, potatoes and corn. Є genetically modified vegetables and fruits, processed drinks, meat and fish, chips.
Genetically modified plants can be found in the warehouse of children's food, beef sparrows, chocolate squash, margarine, frost, olive oil, mayonnaise, bakery and confectionery sparrows. For taste, GM products do not compare favorably with their natural counterparts. For the data of “Greenpeace”, DMI, there are “Dar’ya Napivfabrikati” (trademark “Dar’ya”), “Campomos”, PK ZAT “Korona” (Novgorod), Mikoyanivsky meat processing plant, VAT “Chovni Kholod”, Moskovsky m 'Tsaritsino Yasokombinat', Lianozovo Cow Basin Plant. GMI was also detected in products under the Rollton brand.

In 2009, Greenpeace USA published a list of companies that sell GM ingredients.Which products contain transgenic components?

2.5. Safety of genetically modified products

Research has not shown any evidence of any negative consequences for humans and nature associated with GMOs that have been tested and approved before release. Despite this, not everyone is willing to believe the results, we will be discouraged by the experts - first through the effortless agitation against GMOs, which is driven by purely economical reasons. The remaining message from the World Health Organization is another attempt to address fears associated with GMOs.Genetically modified food products can contribute to improving human health and human development. This is the result of the World Health Organization, which agrees on the need for a thorough assessment of the safety of GM products before allowing them to grow and sell, in order to avoid the risks to human health. middleThe article "Current food biotechnology, human health and development: evidence-based research" examines the potential benefits and risks associated with the persistence of genetically modified organisms in the production of food products iv. The benefits are obvious: GMOs increase yields, reduce the nutritional value of food and the diversity of food products. This, in its turn, reflects an increase in the health of the inhabitants and an increase in the level of living. In addition, experts predict low indirect benefits, such as short-term growth in the goodwill of villagers, especially in countries that are developing.Remnants of genes that are victorious in the development of GMOs, which used to be daily in rural areas, are to assess the potential impact of new grub products on human health. Necessary and long-term post-marketing control, which allows for the immediate detection of any unpleasant effects.Estimates of the risk for health and influx on dovkіllya bulikon for all GM crops, which were removed from the market. In this plan, GM food products have been studied over and above all other primary food products. Until now, the production of GM food products has not produced any known negative effects.

It is recommended that assessments expand the methods for assessing GM food products to include social, cultural and ethical considerations. This will help guarantee the absence of any “genetic inequality” between groups of countries, which allows or prevents the development, growth and sales of GM products. At this time, assessments are focused primarily on agronomic indicators and on the possible impact on the health of livestock. The need in broader assessments is illustrated by 2002, when many African powers were inspired by humanitarian assistance to the guilty countries, motivated by fears of the presence of transgenic crops in food.

"Kharchovy products that are responsible for GM dzherela, are to be investigated from a wide range of perspectives, including social and ethical aspects, to add to the health and well-being of the middle class. In this way we will help the member states of the WHO to earn prices on national To our equal, we can be unique "There are 'genetic' barriers between countries that allow and disallow GM crops," said Dr. Jorgen Schlundt, director of the WHO's Department of Food Safety. At that time, as a number of guilty countries have established a set of rules that require strict safety assessments of GM products before they are released onto the market, many countries that are developing are not in the mood to implement such a system. There are 15 international legally established provisions and a complex set of rules that regulate various aspects of the storage of GMOs.

Today, the world has dozens of lines of GM crops: soybeans, potatoes, corn, beets, rice, tomatoes, turnips, wheat, din, chicory, papaya, in, bavovni, flax and alfalfa. GM soybeans are growing in large numbers, as in the United States they have already dominated the original soybeans, corn, ripak and bavovna. The crops of transgenic plants are gradually growing. In 1996, 1.7 million hectares were occupied by transgenic varieties of plants in the world; in 2002, this area reached 52.6 million hectares (of which 35.7 million hectares in the USA); in 2005, GMO crops were already 91.2 million hectares, in 2006 – 102 million hectares

In 2010, GM crops grew in 29 countries around the world, including Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Deep Africa, Spain, and the USA. The main world producers of products that avoid GMOs are the USA (68%), Argentina (11.8%), Canada (6%), China (3%). More than 30% of all soybeans grown in the world, more than 16% orchards, 11% canola and 7% corn are generated using advanced genetic engineering.

On the territory of the Russian Federation there is not a million hectares that would be seeded with transgenes.

Assessment of safety and access to GMOs in different countries

According to the decision of the chief sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation, Gennady Onishchenko, the concept of the government’s healthy food policy and the law “On the protection of the rights of livestock” (Article 10) all genetically modified products are guilty of being labeled, so that Russians could independently It’s worth it to rob you, and you’re about to waste your money on an unnatural suspect.” ...

Genetically modified products

or else

The product is GMO-revenge

Prote, GM products are still rarely labeled, and when they are labeled, it is in such a cramped and inconspicuous font that the labeling can be seen by the buyer only with a magnifying glass.

3.Visnovok

Vikoristuvat or not vikoristuvat from your food products with GMOs to your skin. If you still want to do without GMO products, then you can consider:

If possible, prepare homemade herbs. Bread, cakes, cheese, home-made dumplings, porridges, incredibly, richly healthy and tasty and healthy, and their analogues, are prepared on an industrial scale. Tobto. enjoy unique drinks from manufactured products.
- avoid cheap products. Genetically altered ingredients are introduced to us in advance of inexpensive products.

Watch the labels, if in doubt, ask the seller to show you the certificate, do not buy products labeled as “containing genetically modified components.”
- try to choose local food productsproduction children.

The main development, which stems from more than 130 research-based research projects, which is based on 25 results of research carried out with the participation of more than 500 independent research groups, suggests that Biotechnologies and, for example, genetically modified organisms are not safe, but for example , traditional technologies of plant breeding.

An analysis of current research has shown that depending on the assessment of the level of safety of GMOs and GMPs, the worst situation regarding the availability of GMOs is in Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Poland, Venezuela, France , Germany and the bottom of European countries; The largest is in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Great Britain, Ukraine and in a number of countries that are developing. Other countries, including Russia, occupy an intermediate position, which is also not good, and some unsafe GMOs are simply not to blame.
It is impossible to solve the problem associated with the expansion and use of GM crops, which were separated out due to insufficient technologies. It is important to roll around in the room, as if you were in a half-washed hut. It is necessary to conquer all countries to protect the planet from unsafe genetic modificationsorganisms, which, through the lack of thoroughness of stagnant technologies, have transformed into a mass crisis, and can destroy all living things on the planet.
